Paper has a few horizontal and vertical fold lines. The handwritten portions include the name of the customer, the item(s)/service(s) purchased, and the price of the item(s)/service(s). The customer was "Mess. Paper Bros.[?]" There are sixteen lines of items purchased. Items include "Turpentine," Tar," "Pitch," "Castor Oil," "Rose Water," and "Tapioca." The printed letterhead reads, "[Customer] Bought of Henshaw, Brigham & Co., Importers and Wholesale Dealers in Drugs, Medicines, Paints, Varnishes, &c., Refiners of Saltpetre and Nitrate of Soda, 154 State Street."
