A sermon given at the funeral of Esther (Meacham) Strong (1725-1793). As noted in the title, Esther was the wife of Reverend Nathan Strong (1717-1795). They presumably met in Coventry, Connecticut, where Esther had been born. Among their children was a son who shared the same name as his father. Nathan Strong, Jr. (1748-1816) went on to become a reverend like his father and later founded the Connecticut Missionary Society and published the Connecticut Evangelical Magazine. Joseph Huntington is noted in this pamphlet as being the pastor of the First Church in Coventry.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
