Longman, Hurst, Rees and Orme. London. 1810. Third Edition. In Two Volumes. Bound in full brown diced calf, rebacked in later calf, gilt vignettes to boards, raised bands to spine, gilt. Frontis to both volumes, + illustrated and with fold-out family tree and plan of Nottingham Castle. Boards are a little worn and rubbed. Both volumes have armorial bookplates to front pastedowns and the inner hinges are reinforced with tape. Some pages are a little browned o/w a remarkably clean and sound set.
