Douglas Francis Jerrold (1893-1964) was a British newspaper editor and author who supported the Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War. This letter is addressed to Mrs. Malcolm Johnson, wife of Malcolm Johnson (1902-1958), an executive vice president at Doubleday, Doran & Co. and then D. Van Nostrand Co., Inc. from 1937-1944.
