The following information is printed on the map:

"The Ionian islands consist of Corfu, Paxo, Santa Maura, Ithaca, Cephalonia, Zante and Cerigo and all other islands great and small, inhabited or uninhabited, situated opposite the Peloponnese and Albania, that is to say all those which have been detached from the Republic of Venice.
To the Island of Corfu belong Fano, Merlera, Saseno, Sanothracio, Sivota, and all others in or out of the channel to Cape Formaggio.
To Paxo belong Antipaxo, Cassionisi, San Nicolo, La Madonna, and all others along the neighbouring continent from Cape Formaggio to the mouth of the channel Prevesa.
To Santa Maura belong Meganisi, Chitros, and all the uninhabited ones in the channel of Santa Maura to the Port of Figlia.
To Ithaca belong Kalamos, Kastus, Arkudi, Atako, and all others out of the channel to the Rock Cazzolani inclusive.
To Cephalonia belong Guardiana, Luca, Dia, and all other inhabited ones around the island.
To Zante belong Stivati, Marathonisi, Paluso, Trenta, Nove, Prodono, Sapiezna, Porto Schisa, Venitico, and all others which are scattered upon the sea to Cape Gallo.
To Cerigo belong Cerigotto, Poro, Poretto, Dragoneres, Servi, and all others from Cape St. Angelo to Koron."
