Green cloth lettered in gold at the spine. 63pp. Top- and fore edge lightly spotted, else in fine state with non-price-clipped dust wrapper exhibiting a little uneven fading and a touch of internal spotting. Thirty Betjeman poems with a frontispiece and seventeen line drawings by Piper including several full-page. This is the scarce withdrawn issue with printing errors affecting the poems 'Bristol and Clifton' and 'Sunday Afternoon in St. Enodoc Church, Cornwall' which necessitated a complete recall. The uncommon publisher's note identifying the problematic poems is laid-in.
