Full leather the binding should last another couple of hundred years or so.The hinges at both front and rear are cracking .Front is firmly attached if a tad loose.The boards were previously fine tooled leather ..All that remains of this is some gilding to the boards edges and a little on the spine.The leather has worn/chaffed from parts of the spine.Rear boards are not is such good shape and maybe becoming disbound.Corners are bumped/rounded.The prologue by Elijah Fenton on the Life of John Milton is missing a few pages at the front and begins at ix...There after the twelve books are quite intact.Some foxing which does not interfere with the printed word.345 Pages..
