Izak du Plessis was one of the so-called 'Dertigers' (together with those such as Uys Krige, NP van Wyk Louw and Elisabeth Eybers). Included with the book is a vistor's sized card with a typed message: "With the compliments of the author". A charming, elegant book in general good condition. Pocket sized. The cover is benign with mild handling rubbing and wear. Inside, there are very small stains to the bottom corners of the last pages.
