The author's debut novel, a semi-fictionalised account of Operation Anthropoid, which resulted in the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague during the Second World War. Winner of the 2010 Prix Goncourt du Premier Roman. Heydrich was overseen by Heinrich Himmler, but a common perception within the SS was that 'Himmler's brain is called Heydrich' which in German spells HHhH - hence the novel's name.. Book.
