Original publisher's beige pamphlet with staple binding. 3 3/4" x 8 3/4." Fifteen pages, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact overall. There is a tiny chip on the back cover from one of the staples. Slight dampstaining at the top, not affecting text. There are occasional pencil inscriptions written among the printed text. In addition to the title, the front cover has the following printed text: "A Charter for World Democracy; Framed by the representatives of the victorious, free nations; Extending to all the World the principles of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Monroe Doctrine." The publication information reads, "Published by League to Enforce Peace, Bush Terminal, Sales Building, 120 West 42d Street, New York." The League to Enforce Peace (LEP) was an American organization that sought to promote world peace by means of international partnerships. It was founded in 1919 by concerned citizens after the beginning of World War I. One of its main goals was to promote the League of Nations (LN, or LoN). The LEP was active until 1923. The League of Nations was an international diplomatic organization that was established in 1920 after the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, which ended World War I. The LoN was the first international organization that had a principal goal of maintaining world peace. The LoN lasted until 1946 and was replaced by the United Nations (UN), which had been established in 1945.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Soft cover
