Plates are lightly toned and some are moderately foxed, affecting facing text pages. Text leaves are generally clean; though some show occasional light foxing, mostly just at the fore- edge. One leaf (p. 475-6) has slim loss in fore-margin; another (p. 607- 8) has a small lacuna in text. Finely bound, it is a very good and handsome copy.
