Circa 1950's. Original portrait photograph. 5 X 7 inches. Montgomery (1904-1981) was an American film and television actor, director and producer. His debut was in 1929 with So This Is College. He went on to appear in The Big House (1930), and his big break Private Lies (1931). Montgomery took a break from movies to enlist in the U.S. Navy. His ship the USS Barton was part of the D-Day invasion in 1944. Once the war was over, Montgomery returned to films and continued acting until 1960. This photograph shows Montgomery, which is a close up, wearing a black and white tweed jacket, white shirt and dark tie. Photograph is very clean.. Book. Book Condition: Fine.
