Original color jigsaw puzzle in a black and yellow cardboard box. Illustration of a star on front. Puzzle pieces are made of cardboard. No. 4 of the Movie Cut-Ups series. No date, circa 1932. Box measures 7 1/4" x 7." Puzzle pieces vary in shape and size but each is roughly about 1" x 1." "No Less Than 225 Pieces." Puzzle pieces are loose; some may be missing. Pieces are very clean and intact. Box is clean and intact overall. Lid has some darkening, moderate wear at the edges, and split (and tape-repaired) corners at the top and bottom. Bottom of box has an extensive dampstain that does not appear to affect interior of box or puzzle pieces. A Very Good copy. Puzzle No. 4 of the Movie Cut-Ups series. This puzzle shows an illustrated scene for an upcoming Fox movie, Robbers' Roost (1932), starring George O'Brien and Maureen O'Sullivan. The movie was based on Zane Grey's book of the same name. The novel is about a cowboy named Jim Wales who tries to save woman being held for ransom while two gangs of outlaws battle it out in a remote Utah canyon.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Very Good.
