Original publisher's multicolored wrapper that has an illustration of a loaf of bread and a woman holding a pan of bread on the front cover and an illustration of packaged "Magic Yeast" and "Yeast Foam" on the back cover. No date, circa 1935. 5" x 7 3/4." Twenty-five pages and several black and white and multicolored illustrations, complete, except for Pages 7 and 8 which appear to have been cut out. Pages 12 and 13 are included but are loose and possibly misbound. Former ownership signature of Marie Brocket appears twice on front cover in small black ink. Pages and covers are otherwise very clean and intact. This is a cookbook that promotes the Northwestern Yeast Company and its products such as "Magic Yeast" and "Yeast Foam." There are various recipes for bread and other bread-related dishes such as, cakes, buns, rolls, and doughnuts. The book also has a recipe for homemade root beer and ginger ale. Index in back.. Book.
