The first edition with these magnificent William Brown Macdougall decorations, which comprise differing ornately decorative Art Nouveau panels on each double-spread. 4to. Unpaginated. Green cloth lettered in gold at the spine with a gilt-stamped decoration to the upper board. The title page printed in red and black. The cloth faded and spotted, and splitting and frayed at the upper outer hinge. Some wear to the backstrip ends. Free endpapers browned. Edges and title page spotted, and with just a tiny trace of further spotting to occasional leaf margins.
