The Oregon Pioneer Association (OPA) was founded in 1867 as a fraternal and genealogical society. It was originally known as the Oregon Pioneer Society. Eligible members were those who had come to Oregon before 1854 or during the time when Oregon Territory was jointly owned by the United States and Britain.
