Minimal age wear with very small chip on left image. Numbers written in upper-right corner. A clean, fine copy. Photograph shows the village of Cold Spring, New York with mountains and the Hudson River in the background and trees in the foreground. Title is printed at the bottom of the right image. "American Series" is printed in decorative red scrollwork on the left and right edges on the front of the board. The American Series stereoviews were made during the 1870s by an unknown publisher and are considered pirated. The company's stereoviews often showed natural scenery in the United States..
