Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with staple binding. Color photographs on front and back covers. Front cover shows a cloister and gardens of Mission Santa Inez (Ines) in California. Back cover shows a torrey pine near San Diego, California. 8 1/2" x 11." Forty-eight pages, complete. Many reprinted photographs in black and white and color, complete. Pages are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. Covers are clean and intact overall, but there is a small hole on the front cover. There is also a score mark that extends into the interior pages to about Page 5. Text and images are still readable and a limited area is affected. Spine has minuscule chipping. A Near Fine copy. Pacific Pathways was a pictorial travel magazine that was established in 1946. From 1946-1948, Pacific Pathways ran as a monthly magazine. Beginning with Vol. 3, No. 5, the magazine changed to a quarterly. Each issue is replete with black and white and color photographs of scenic areas and points of interest in various western states of the U.S. Each issue contains articles that give a brief tour of each featured destination. This issue contains the following articles: "Tacoma," "The Redwood Empire Gives a Party," "Valley of the Rogue" [about the Rogue Valley in Oregon], "Home of Saltwater and Sunshine" [about Newport Harbor], "California Crossroad: Warner's Ranch" [about Juan Jose Warner (or Jonathan Trumbull Warner) and his ranch], "Bonneville Dam," "What to Wear" [fashion advice for travel], and "Armchair Travel" [four travel book recommendations]..
