Red cloth boards with ornate black, gold and silver illustrations. Some gold is worn. Open edge wear with moare at spine ends and corners. Usual dirty smudgies. Rear board has some mold spotting and is dirtier than front. Front/rear hinges are cracked through to gauze on spine. Front pages are dirty by hinge. Some hinge repairs showing titla page in red and black. Frontisiece is b/w entitled 'Grandpa's stories...'. Book is a series of 100 fireside stories in chatty conversation in which Grandpa Goodwin narrates...sacred volumn. Lots of b/w engravures from several illustrators. Also green toned.
