The first appearance in print of this Larkin poem, which was subsequently re-titled 'I Remember, I Remember' and included in his collection 'The Less Deceived' (1955). Other contributors to this issue include Kingsley Amis (his poem 'The Silent Room'), Elizabeth Jennings (her poem 'The Suicides'), Norman MacCaig (his poem 'Fetish'), William Carlos Williams, Sydney Goodsir Smith, E.L.Mayo, and others.
