Lacks half-title. Contemporary brown 3/4 leather binding with marbled boards. Gilt lettering on spine. 8 3/4" x 10 1/2." 500 pages, complete. Two former owners' bookplates on front pastedown and front free endpaper: "Thomas Cradock" and Arthur Melville Clark of Herriotshall and Oxton," respectively. Two descriptions of the book tipped in on front pastedown. Covers have sustained the most damage with significant rubbing on front cover. Spinal lettering slightly faded. Corners worn. A few chips at the bottom of the spine. However, pages are very clean and intact with minimal age toning. Binding tight. A Very Good copy.
