The brown cover is sturdy with wear to all extremities and seams. The faces of the cover are scuffed and marked from use and storage. The spine is stained by mould and inconsiderate storage. There is wear to the head and foot. The cover is stoic and resilient and robust. Inside, the early pages are much marked and stained, the hinges are creaky but secure. The contents have user wear throughout and there are pencilled annotations sprinkled through the pages. The papertrims are marked from handling and storage. Liberally illustrated. The photographs are perfectly posed and poised, very much with a hand-on-the-hip! Swags and drapes, elegance and chichi luxe abound.
