The boards are rubbed, lightly marked and edge worn. The top and bottom edges of the spine are creased and fraying, and the corners are a touch knocked inwards. Despite this, the boards remain strong and square. The binding of the front board has been carefully repaired. There is some light foxing on the first and last few pages, which extends sporadically and faintly through the body of the book. There are some faint pencil markings on the first page, but there are no other markings or inscriptions within. The pages are crisp and complete and the binding is tight. A handsome book. JV.K.
