The scrapbook is made in a re purposed 1897 volume from the Massachusetts Highway Commission (The Commission was established in 1893) There are about 80 pages. Great-Grandmother Mellin filled it with items that shefelt would interest her young great grandson- stories clipped from newspapers and magazines, many featuring animals and small children.
