A film adaptation of this book was made in 1954 called "Hell's Outpost". The book's author, Luke Short, died in 1975.The dust jacket is shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, with a small chip out of the back along the bottom edge. Aside from this, the jacket remains whole, bright and intact. Internally, there is a stamp marking on the front pastedown which is partially concealed by the dust jacket flap. There is mild foxing on the front and back end pages - this does not extend into the rest of the book, although there is some light tanning throughout.
