Cree is a dialect of the Algonquian languages and is an official language of the Northwest Territories in Canada. Foreword: "This little book is intended to be just what it is called - 'a primer' or 'for beginners' in the study of the Cree Indian language. ... The vocabulary is intended to teach words in common use and is of course incomplete, containing some 1100 words out of a language of 30,000 or more. ... I trust this Primer will be a help to many Missionaries and other English-speaking people who may come to live in our wonderful Northland.". Book. Book Condition: Fine. Binding: Soft cover
