Two volumes, engraved portrait of Tasso, lxxv, 417, 458 pages, errata in each volume, leather spines and corners, gilt tooling on spines, page edges untrimmed. Nice set, minor snagging to top edge of boards of volume 2. Both volumes begin with half title page, not blank free ends leaves, with a church's blind stamp. Some text blocks are darkened, but overall the untrimmed pages are fresh and clean, upper corner of title page and next leaf in volume 1 torn away, without loss of text.
