Collection of nine original documents, namely, seven billheads printed in blue ink on light beige paper and two credit memoranda printed in red ink on yellow paper. All documents also have handwriting in black ink. All documents datelined 1900 in Sacramento, California. Billheads dated June 27 and 31, July 6 and 11 (two billheads for July 11), August 6, and September 8. Credit memoranda dated June 28 and July 16. Billheads range between 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" and 8 1/2" x 7." Credit memoranda: 8 1/4" x 4 1/2." All documents are very clean and intact overall except for light to moderate age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, a few small closed tears along edges, and a paper stub tipped in at right edge on back. Each document and the entire collection are Very Good. A collection of seven original billheads and two credit memoranda from The A. S. Hopkins Company of Sacramento, California to Frank Kunsting of Franklin, California. The number of line items on each billhead varies between one and five. Among the items Kunsting purchased on the billheads are "Yukon Note Paper," "Envelopes," "Golden Gate Sack Twine," "Stencil Brush," and "Manila." There is one line item on each credit memorandum; one simply refers to "Twine" and the other reads, "Allow once on 50 Honey Boxes [numerical specifications]." The printed header on each billhead reads, "Bought of The A. S. Hopkins Co., Importers and Dealers in Woodenware, Baskets, Brushes, Stationery, Paper Bags, Twines, Axe and Pick Handles, Tacks, Matches, Dairy Supplies, Notions, Etc., 209 to 313 J Street, Bet. Third & Fourth; Indurated Fibre Ware, Excelsior and California Step Ladders, Flasks and Demijohns, School Supplies and Blank Books, Fishing Tackle, Pipes and Buggy Whips, Wrapping Paper." The printed header on each Credit Memorandum reads, "Credit Memorandum; In Account with The A. S. Hopkins Company, 309 to 313 J Street, Between Third and Fourth.". Ephemera.
