Three original catalogs of bookplate samples. Each catalog consists of an outer beige wrapper (one folded leaf) with black and white illustrations on the front and back panels and loose samples of bookplates and paper materials pertaining to placing orders contained within the wrapper. No date, circa 1925. Wrapper measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/2." Bookplates and other documents vary in size from anywhere in between about 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" to 4" x 6." Outer wrappers (folders), bookplates, and other paper materials are very clean and intact. A set of three Fine copies. All of the bookplate samples come in a graphic black and white style and show designs of people, animals, landscapes, and a wide variety of other subjects. Catalog No. 1 contains an original coupon, one introductory postcard and one letter addressed to their target demographic, "booklovers," concerning ordering information, and twenty-seven bookplate samples. Catalog No. 2 contains a blank order form, an introductory letter about ordering and the contents of the folder, and twenty-three bookplate samples (twenty-two accounting for one duplicate).
