The deluxe issue of the first edition, limited to 26 lettered copies, signed by the author, hand-set in Palatino, printed on Zerkall mould-made paper, bound in marbled wrappers and housed in a quarter cloth chemise with Cockerell marbled paper sides. This particular example is 'T' and the author has incorporated the identifying letter in to the following inscription on the colophon leaf: "For Trish [Montemuro] with lots of love & gratitude T" followed by his scrawl of a signature. Slim 8vo. [22]pp. With one plate containing three stills from a contact strip from Cukor's 1975 adaption of Maeterlinck's play 'The Blue Bird'. A fine copy of Harrison's verse-tribute to his friend, the celebrated director George Cukor, which was originally printed in the periodical London Magazine. Trish Montemuro was the state manager for virtually all of Harrison's National Theatre productions, and also his personal assistant; they collaborated together for over twenty-five years.. Book.
