A handsome dark impression mezzotint by the celebrated Richard Earlom after the painting by Vandyke. Whole-length, on a rearing horse, directed to the back, facing and looking to front, with armour and sword, man on the right holding his helmet, cavalry lined up in the landscape in the background; coat of arms at bottom. Inscription Content: Lettered below image with artists' and publisher's names, title and further text: "From the original picture in the collection of Thos. Willm. Coke Esqr. at Holkham in the County of Norfolk.", size of the painting and publication line: "Publish'd Augst, 12th, 1783, by John Boydell engraver in Cheapside London." The d'Arenberg family, one of the first European aristocracy, comes from the illustrious house of line. The House of Line is one of the oldest and most prestigious families noble Belgian .
