The illustrations, very mindful of Mabel Lucie Attwell, are cheerful and sweet. There is no publication date but there is a school presentation plate on the first page dated 1949. The book has been much and cheerfully owned. Nonetheless it is charming and cute. There is wear, many handling marks. The covers are scuffed and grubby.
