Original billhead printed in black ink on light beige paper. Also includes handwriting in pencil and blue ink. No date, circa 1900s (blank fill-in date of "190_" at top). Location is Auburn, California. 8 1/2" x 4 3/4." Billhead is very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from W. T. Crosby of Auburn, California to "M. Jno. [John] Steiner." There are three line items for August 31, September10, and December 30 which are respectively "use of wagon 4 days," "horse & buggy," and "wire & 2 [gates?] from N. C." The printed header reads, "To W. T. Crosby, Dr., Proprietor of Crosby's Livery Stable." Printed text to the side reads, "General Trucking, Transfer and City Bus; Transient and Boarding Horses Well Cared For.". Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Binding: No Binding
