Scarce Privately Printed edition, small 4to, on laid paper with untrimmed edges, in its original grey paper covered boards stamped with small gold squares with shadow effect; paper title label to upper. Frontispiece illustration printed from a photograph by Alvin Langdon Coburn. Binding a little rubbed and darkened to extremities, corners bumped. A very special copy of this fantastic story based on, and challenging, Erasmus's quote: 'In the country of the blind the one eyed man is king'.
