Completely unbelievable in the light of what we now know; any man made miraculously invisible would occupy his entire time with spying on naked people, staying in pubs after they'd closed and tracking down people who were mean to him in school and making their lives a misery. Condition: Boards moderately soiled and rubbed, moderate edgewear especially at corners, spine ends, and spine edges. Small ink spot on front board mid fore-edge. Front hinge starting at title page, rear hinge just barely starting, occasional pages are corner creased, last page of epilogue center creased with slightly smudged text. Pages lightly toned. Description: The Invisible Man was originally serialized in Pearson's Magazine in 1897 and published as a novel in the same year.
