Charles B. Wolfe was a newspaper publisher and editor. He was owner and editor of the "Ashland Record" in Ashland, Oregon. Prior to this, he was the owner of the "Alton Democrat" in Alton, Iowa. This collection consists of 5 typewritten and 8 handwritten pages of whimsical notes about his background. One of the handwritten pages is on "Alton Democrat" letterhead. Also included is a letter from C. R. Constable asking Mr. Wolf for "some notes for a personal sketch in the forthcoming history of Oregon". Enclosed is a 4 page questionnaire.
