First Edition. A very good copy indeed in the original dark green pictorial cloth gilt, newly and professionally rebacked in dark green cloth. Possibly a family association copy, bearing the autograph pencil ownership signature of J.O.Donovan, Lowell, Mass. 27th Oct.1924 on the fep. (The commanding officer of the Squadron was Joseph D Donovan, and at least one other Donovan also took part). Overall a very attractive copy of a very scarce WW1 aviation item.
