FRANCE,slim,small 8vo wraps,not dated,1st thus.[Nd - not dated,but circa early 1900s - from style of clothes worn in the b/w contemporary photographs.] VG+.Brown,paper wraps with rusted staples,with brown ink printed lettering; with negligible shelf-wear and creasing to edges and corners - no major nicks or tears present. Wraps lightly aged and grubbed with some minimal rubbing to spine/backstrip and a diagonal corner crease to front,lower right-hand corner.An approx 2" vertical split/tear on the spine/backstrip,almost up to the bottom of the lower staple used. Top+fore-edges inevitably aged/toned; contents though bright,tight and generally clean,have page-edge toning with the body of text and pages also toned - but to a much lesser degree of colour.Pages are of chain-laid paper.FRANCE,slim,small 8vo wraps,undated,1st thus,4-27pp [paginated] includes 9 sections/chapters and 2pp of comparison height charts of other monuments; plus [unpaginated],a blank,M. Gustav Eiffel's b/w portrait illustrated
