Contributors include John Lehmann (writing as 'R.J.F.Lehmann', who contributes two woodcuts and a decorated poem), Julian Bell, Raymond McGrath and the editors. 'The Venture' ran for a total of six issues between November 1929 - June 1930, and is perhaps most noteworthy for early contributions from Louis MacNeice (none of which, alas, appear in this issue).
