The Napoleonically coloured cover has much wear and tear and markings from use and shelving. The book has clearly been much read and used - albeit with (if not tender) care. There is wear to all extremities and folds of the dustjacket. The dj front cover have closed tears at the top and bottom edges. There is lamination peel at the edges of the spine. The dj back cover has shelving marks to the top and bottom edges. The scarlet cloth cover is in fine condition with no markings or shelving marks. The frontispage has fold marks along its length.
