Bound in half green calf, gilt, raised bands, contrasting lettering piece, marbled boards and endpapers, plus extra more recent blank endpapers. The marbled boards are rubbed. Ownership signatures present. Small portion of blank margin torn from pages 207/208 - with no loss of text. Pages lightly stained, browned and occasionally foxed but generally a clean and very sound copy.
