Negligible shelf-wear,bumping or creasing to edges and corners - no nicks,tears or splits present.To near centre of spine/backstrip some vertical,small indent impressions but seemingly without adversely affected concomitant area beneath.Also in nearby vicinity some minor vertical abrasions with colour paper loss at rear board's gutter's fold/crease.Top+fore-edges though toned are clean and without noticeable blemish; contents bright,tight,clean,solid and sound - near pristine - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corner tips - appears unread,other than my own collation.Publisher's bright,crisp,clean,sharp-cornered,original plain green cloth boards with bright,crisp,blocked gilt-lettered spine/backstrip,a mustard coloured headband,and immaculate mustard coloured endpapers.UK,8vo HB+dw/dj,author SIGNED+ dedicated,1st edn,1-309pp[paginated] includes a Prologue,Pts 1+2 with varying numbers of chapters/sections and an Epilogue,and to the rear,acknowledgements; plus [unpaginated] blank with publisher's b/w colophon to lower edge.
Author SIGNED title page,a dedication,an epigram,individual Pts separator pages each of which are followed by a page with 2 epigrams and at the rear,as last pages - 2pp blanks.
Visually the exterior appearance is still acceptable,and particularly internally,the book is in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation.It is only the exterior faults described that prevent a slightly higher grading.Despite them,it really is still an exceptional copy for brightness and cleanliness.
