For a book that is over a century old, it is remarkably well preserved, as such, the condition has determined according to the age of the book. The boards are rubbed, marked and worn, but remain whole and square. There is a mark obscuring some of the text of the spine, and the bottom corner of the back board is a little creased. Internally, there is a publisher's sticker on the front pastedown. The pages are tanned, and there is some very faint foxing throughout, but the pages are complete and square.
