A very good copy in the original dull blue cloth, hinges and extrenities rubbed and worn, contents clean and tight. Seemingly one of the author's own copies, with his ownership signature, and "Ranfurly 1st Feb. 1934" inside front board. Subsequently in the possession of a family member, A. Middleton-Bell, 38 Rutland Rd. Parkwood Johannesburg (in ink fep). Tipped in a typewritten note from Laura L. Hoskins, discussing mention of Twentyman family in the book, of whom she is a descenant, the note dated 20.2.34.
