Original red boards are quite badly rubbed and the spine is faded and a bit frayed at the extremities. There is a stain on the front board and also on the browned page edges; this has seeped into the body of the book but not obtrusively so. The ffep is missing and there is foxing on the first and last few pages. Both hinges show signs of going but are still intact and for the rest, the binding is tight. This description is deliberately critical because of the book's price; in fact the overall condition is good++. Currently only one other listed in original binding.. Book Condition: Good.
