In the back are the Acknowledgments and a colophon about the type. The page facing the half-title and the back flap of the dust wrapper list other works by the author. There is a brief biography and reprinted photograph of the author on the back panel of the dust wrapper. Dust wrapper and pages and covers of the book are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. Dust wrapper has slight wear at the head and tail of the spine and a couple minuscule chips in the upper corners of the front panel. Dust wrapper is not price-clipped. No remainder marks. He co-founded the Saturday Review of Literature in 1924. In 1942, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
