Second edition stated on title, possibly 19th century cloth, soiled and rubbed, gilt titled spine, upper joint partially split, paper residue to paste down, inscripiton to fep dated 1878, binder's ? rubber stamp to verso of fep, fep is part of the newer binding, next is the title, with small contemporary ink name at head 'J Carr', (vi) (1)-206pp, a few very minor pencil notes, nice copy suitable for a better binding than this plain 'library' style cloth, mayhap this work is the root of the debt-trap!.
