Hand colored wood engraving from a drawing by the 19th-century American illustrator, whose drawings and engravings often appeared in Frank Leslie's Weekly. There is one central image of a tornado destroying a Wisconsin farm, and two inset images, one of a snowstorm in Ohio, the other of townspeople sliding on the ice in Illinois.
