An extremely scarce early Afrikaans children's book, even more so in d.w. The book, in small oblong 8vo format, contains 16 leaves each with a full page illustration containg the text. Elsa Beskow (née Maartman) (11 February 1874, Stockholm – 30 June 1953) was a Swedish author and illustrator of children's books.
