The album belonged to high school tennis player Betty McClurg. 1949, pre Title IX women's tennis with an original Alice Marble autograph. The album has a ten 8x10 & 5x7 photos laid in, tournament entry forms, tournament rules and newspaper articles covering girls and women's tennis in Oklahoma City in the 1940's. There is a ticket to a 1949 tennis clinic put on by Alice Marble, with her autograph on the front of the ticket. The slipcased album is 10"x12", approx.42 pages+ the photographs.Several clipping laid in, a few others are loose because of dried out glue. Nice condition.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
